It was very nice to have Loic here on the finca and stay with him. He is very friendly, respectfull, helpfull hard working and a very kind man.

Amazing place to volunteer! This was our first workaway and it has set the bar very high. The work varies from day to day and never gets too repetitive - a good mix of manual labour and more relaxed harvesting, planting, etc. The hosts are very friendly and all the staff are lovely to work with. The location is off the beaten track so it feels like a very unique experience. The surrounding area is absolutely stunning with so much to explore. Would definitely come back.

It was a pleasure to have Adam here. He was a good help with all kind of eaven hard work on the finca. Also he helped with all the things in the house like cooking. He is respectfull, friendly, helpfull. I really can recomend him.

My two month stay with Bre and her family just ended and I had such a good time there. The moment I stepped into there house they welcomed me with open arms and treated me as a part of there family. I am so grateful for all the moments we were able to share together, like going to the waterpark, playing, going to the zoo and so much more. The work was mostly child minding like going to the park, playing with them, reading to them and colouring. But also some light housework. The work you'll have to do is fair and you'll have a lot of freetime where you can explore. All in all the accomodation is perfect, you'll have so much privacy and space. The Kids are energetic, playful, full of joy and so much fun to play with. So if you love children and can handle some house chores this is the place for you!! Thank you for everything to Bre and her family!

Nikki and Tom were marvellous hosts and genuinely kind and thoughtful people. They provided wonderful accommodation and great food and we enjoyed good conversation, playing board games and pétanque. They were generous to show us the local area including Alora, and the Camanito Del Ray which was a wonderful experience. In our time off they were kind enough to run us to the station so we could enjoy Malaga old town and the port, which are wonderful places to visit. We enjoyed our time here and would hope to return again in the future.

Es war eine Freude, Nils hier zu haben und mit ihm zu leben und zu arbeiten. Er ist freundlich, ordentlich, respektvoll, fair, fleißig und hat auch im Haus und beim Kochen super geholfen. Er war eine große Hilfe bei verschiedenen Arbeiten auf der Finca. Wir hatten gute Gespräche und einigen Spaß miteinander. Ich kann ihn nur empfehlen. Er ist jederzeit wieder willkommen.

Joe joined our soap factory and contributed significantly during his stay. He helped create a promotional video and assisted with packing and various other tasks around the company. Joe is a kind-hearted individual, and we are very happy that he enjoyed his time with us. We look forward to seeing him again and wish him all the best in his future adventures.

Nathalie was very adorable. We appreciate very much the help she did in the barne, since Fritz couldn't do anything because off his dog bite. She was very strong, carrieing big hay balls uphill. We would love to see you again😊

Sara and Fabio house’s is a little bubble of paradise in the mountain. The work was varied and easy and always done in a good ambiance. I felt like part of the family because they are two of the most kind simple and nice people I could meet during my trip, they are really good people who work for what they believe in. Thanks to them I had the chance to improve my Italian , and to enjoy the wonderful cooking of Fabio. Lets not forget their 2 doggies, which I simply feel in love with. They was also 2 others volonteers with me, and it was nice to meet people coming from different country and we were also like a little family with the volonteers Honestly I recommend 100% , you can go to this workaway place , but carrefull in the end, you wouldn’t want to leave ahah . We enjoyed having Iris. It was a pleasure to work with her, she understood what we wanted her to do, no words needed. Fritz said, he dident even have to talk much, she knew what to do😊she cooked very nice healthy menues for us. We wold welcome her any time. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy most off the time, we would like to show her hot summer in the alps🌞

Héctor y yo estuvimos en este maravilloso proyecto en febrero del 2022. Nos quedamos solo 3 semanas, y aunque nos queríamos quedar más tiempo, por problemas médicos nos tuvimos que ir. Afortunadamente todo salió bien y Héctor está recuperado. Muchísimas gracias a Rosemery y a Américo y a todos los voluntarios que estaban en ese momento y que nos ayudaron <3 <3 <3 Nos dio muchísima pena no poder despedirnos de los niños, con los que tanto compartimos y que tantas alegrías y buenos momentos nos dieron. Algún día, cuando volvamos a Perú, volveremos aquí segurísimo. Recomiendo que si vas a este voluntariado sea con la idea de quedarte el máximo de tiempo posible, por el bien de los niños. También sería ideal si tuvieras buen nivel de español, para comunicarte con los niños en su idioma y poder incluso enseñárselo mejor. ¡Aplica y dales a todos y cada uno de ellos el cariño que merecen! :D

Elin has the most kindest soul, it was my honor to host such a beautiful being. I found her energy to be soft and very easy to open up to. Her communication was clear and her openness to try new things was so wonderful, making jobs easy to get done. All tasks asked of her were finiished and with a positive attitude. We will miss her laugh and smile, who ever her friends' family or even new hosts will be enriched by her company. I hope that as she ages, her paths will be clear and filled with so much love and support that she will never have to question it. Her compassion is so true, and she can ask the best questions. She will be missed here on Gabriola by me and my family, but most of all, Aries the dog.

This was our first workaway and wow, what a brilliant experience! The house is easily reachable by car/van/train in a private setting surrounded by citrus and avocado trees. The house and pool is fantastic, we had our our room on the top floor with shared kitchen/lounge with other workawayers. Although we had our own space, Greg and Ellie opened up their home for us to share with them if we wished. Greg and Ellie made us feel more than comfortable and wanted us have the best experience with them. Greg was brilliant to chat with about anything and everything, and a huge thank you to him for helping us fix our solar panels, we could not of done this without him! Ellie is so kind and easy to be around and cooks up some very delicious meals! She took us for a local hike and an evening trip to the beach to show us the local area. They both made it their priority to ensure we had the best time, and even invited us to join a friday fiesta with all their friends. Which we loved! The work itself was challenging but always fun and carried out in a relaxed atmosphere. Greg gave great instructions that were easy to follow to get the jobs done. Whilst we were there we helped to prune trees, pick fruit, strim and mow the land alongside many other outside jobs. Overall, wonderful experience and we hope to be back in the future. Immersed in the vibrant culture of Rome, I had an immense privilege of staying with the Marinella family during my workaway experience. Marinella's captivating discussions on culture and life enriched my understanding of Italian life, while a painting workshop unleashed my inner artist. Sharing Moroccan dishes and mint tea in their kitchen fostered a cultural exchange that transcended borders. I was falling in love everyday in the lifestyle of this lovely family. Morning conversations with Giancarlo sparked a newfound interest in history and philosophy. The playful presence of Zody and Maya, the family's beloved dogs, added joy to my mornings, especially Maya, whose playful nature was infectious. I'm deeply grateful to the Marinella family for their warmth and hospitality, which made my stay unforgettable. Their commitment to cultural exchange through workaway is commendable. Julianne and James were exceptional hosts. They are very friendly and personable people and it was a joy to live with them. Julianne gives you the schedule for the month when you arrive and provides thorough instructions for every task. The cozy town of Buttevant is a 15-minute walk which made it very convenient to go to the shop/pub/bus stop on my time off. Thank you so much, Julianne and James!

The day Benjamin left, we were very sad. Because we were so happy to farm with him for five weeks. He is a student studying agriculture, and he is really talented at farming. He deeply understood the principles of all farming and learned quickly. He always showed up early, started work, and worked hard during his working hours. He has a natural talent for farming. He is a genius farmer. He got along well with the other volunteers he stayed with. At night, he watched the Korean drama ‘My Liberation notes’ with other volunteers. This drama contains Buddhist content. After watching the drama, we talked a lot about how we can be liberated. He was a good conversationalist. He had excellent communication skills. He really enjoyed talking about politics, history and culture. And we remember him singing beautifully during a small picnic we went on together. He stayed on our farm and we made plans for the future together. I think he will probably become the world's organic farmer leader. We will also go to his beautiful farm to volunteer.

Alison est arrivée chez moi depuis le Pérou, son pays d'origine. Elle est une personne très agréable qui s'adapte volontiers pour les tâches demandées. Nous avons aussi cuisiné ensemble et notre expérience cookies a été pleinement réussie. C'est aussi une championne de skate.

I spent 2 weeks in this farm. It is a magical place, away from civilization, immersed in the beauty and quietness of the hilly landscape. The tasks were easy and I enjoyed weeding, composting and cooking. In my freetime I could swim in the natural swimming pool, play with the dogs and cats and go for long walks. I was invited by the owner to visit some medieval towns around or join in sun set musical events with his friends, at the farm. Thanks!
